Baton Rouge Race Pushes Racers to their Limits
The Baton Rouge Off-Road Adventure Race course was one of the toughest GCAR races to date! The Hooper & Comite trails are some of the most technical in the area, and the low Comite River levels made the course even more grueling.

Congratulations to all the teams who came out on Saturday! Results and photos will be posted soon.

A Wet & Wild Start to the Season!

More than 7 inches of rain in Mobile couldn't stop 62 teams from heading out in the slop to start the 2008 "Racin' to N'Awlins" series! Faced with lingering bad weather, race officials decided to have racers complete the course backwards! Despite the wet weather and the last-minute changes, the Mobile race was a huge success! Who knew the wing of a bomber could serve as a rain shelter for more than 200 people?

It was definitely a memorable experience for everyone and truly demonstrated how adventure racers get creative to overcome any obstacle!

Congratulations to everyone who raced! We hope you've dried off by now and are ready for Baton Rouge in May!
